Being a Good Community Member

For us here at the Burnaby Community Blog, we believe being a good community member first and foremost means respecting the ideas and opinions of your fellow community members. Secondly, a good community member must forgo doing anything that harms their community, like littering, graffiti, swearing, stealing, breaking traffic laws, etc.

We wanted to talk about this today because protests are breaking out all over the country and before people in Burnaby decide to partake we want to remind them of the importance of being a good member of their local community. Burnaby has many amazing people, but just like the cops in Minneapolis everything has a few bad apples. We won’t call any names but we want to call for action, motivating people to be the best citizen they can.

These are hard times for many people and the small thing of being good to your fellows can make a major difference in the quality of life for everyone in a community. So thanks for reading! Here’s a poem about Canadian love to motivate you further. Just click on the link above to read it.

Bye for now!
